The shortage of appropriate knowledgeable and skilled workforce is a challenge in the Life Science Industry.

India is the largest exporter of generic formulation and pharma export is almost $25 billion. The Pharma and Life Science Industry is steadily growing in double digit for the past 4 years and looking for trained people. The Pharma companies have to constantly innovate and adopt the International standards to be competitive in the International Market. Pharma sector is expected to create 45000 jobs in 2015-2016, with 7.2% increase in hiring as compared to 2015.

Skill Gap

Pharma and Life Sciences lack skilled talent in the areas of R&D, other functional areas like Regulatory Affairs, Quality Control, Intellectual Property, biosimilars etc.

Specific Skill Set

To address the academia curriculum skill gap, TALL has introduced short term certificate courses(80 hours) for  the following subjects:-

  • Diploma in Regulatory Affairs
  • Diploma in Quality Control
  • Diploma in Quality Assurance
  • Diploma in Pharmacovigilance

These programmes are for students in the final year, who can get certified and get relevant jobs in Pharma. The course is open to students with

  • B. Pharm
  • M. Pharm
  • UG & PG (Chemistry & Bio Chemistry)
